Halo Water Proofing has been the trusted call for Waterproofing across Hammondsport because we answer the phone, show up when we say, and stand behind the work.
Background-checked Hammondsport technicians · Written pricing
Halo Water Proofing started small in the Hammondsport area and grew because customers kept referring us to their neighbors — that's still how most of our work comes in today.
Every Hammondsport technician we send is background-checked and trained on the exact equipment we install — not a subcontractor picked up for the day.
Our Hammondsport crew leads carry years of hands-on repair experience, not just sales training — which is why the advice you get on-site tends to match what actually needs fixing.
Talk to a real Hammondsport technician today, not an automated queue. We'll explain what's going on and get you scheduled.
📞 +1-866-476-1348Water problems build slowly before they become emergencies. These are the clues our Hammondsport crews hear about most.
A musty smell usually means moisture is already moving through your Hammondsport basement, even if the floor looks bone dry.
Stair-step cracking in block foundations is one of the most common early signs our Hammondsport crews see.
That white powder on basement walls is mineral residue left behind as water passes through the concrete.
If your pump only shuts off for a few minutes at a time, it's worth having it checked before it fails outright.
If a foundation wall looks like it's curving inward, that's beyond a simple patch and needs a real assessment.
Flooring that's cupping near an exterior wall often traces straight back to a basement moisture issue below.
No two Hammondsport basements are the same — soil type, age of the home, water table. We match the fix to your actual problem.
Storm season keeps our Hammondsport emergency line busy — active flooding always jumps ahead of routine inspections in the queue.

Ask About Crack Repair →A failed sump pump is the top reason for emergency calls across Hammondsport after heavy rain — we install pumps sized to your actual water volume, plus battery backup for power outages.
Book a Pump Check →For yards fighting bad grading, an exterior French drain intercepts water before it ever touches the foundation wall.
Talk Drainage Options →Older Hammondsport homes with vented crawl spaces see the biggest swings in seasonal humidity — encapsulation closes that off for good.

We figure out fast whether this needs an emergency dispatch or a scheduled inspection.
We point out exactly what we find as we find it, so nothing about the diagnosis feels like a black box.
The number you approve is the number you're billed — no change orders once the crew shows up.
Once the job's done, you get written proof of what was installed and exactly what the warranty covers.
We've heard every Hammondsport horror story about contractors who disappear mid-job or pad the invoice. Here's how we do it differently.
You get a real number before any work starts — what you approve is what you're billed.
We're not routing your call through a national center — the person who answers is close by.
Warranty terms are explained in plain language before you sign, with no fine-print surprises later.
Our technicians are trained to diagnose accurately, not to upsell — that changes the advice you actually get.
Filing a claim can be confusing — we've walked Hammondsport customers through this process many times.
Word of mouth is still how most Hammondsport customers find us, which keeps our standards high.
"Woke up to a wet basement and had someone out by mid-morning. No pressure, no upsell, just fixed it."
"Got three quotes for a crack repair. This was the only company that actually explained why the crack was happening instead of just naming a price."
"Crawl space smelled bad for years. After encapsulation, the smell upstairs is completely gone."
"Straightforward commercial quote, professional crew, no back and forth."
"Expected a huge bill for three cracks, only one actually needed injection. Appreciated the honesty."
"First contractor who actually explained where the water was coming from instead of just quoting a number."
"Sump pump inspection was thorough and they didn't try to sell me a new one when mine just needed a part replaced."
Every Hammondsport technician we send is background-checked and trained on the systems we install, so the crew that inspects your property is the same one that fixes it.
